April, 2006 April 30, 2006 IECC sponsored it's second annual AKC Tracking Dog test at the Miller Ranch near Sprague Washington. The results are in and five of the ten entries passed. We be celebrated our 50th Anniversary as a club, and a grand time was had by everyone who came to show their beautiful collies, help with the show and the judges. After the specialty we be held our potluck where we showed a DVD put together by Suzanne Schwab. Suzanne did an awesome job presenting photos from the last 50 years. Thank you for all your hard work! Winner of this years Good Sportsmanship Award went to Sandra Kirsh. Sandy works hard for the IECC and is much loved by the membership. Congratulations Sandy, and we miss you! <img src="images/youarethebestbears.gif"> We awarded a special prize to Suzanne Schwab and Stanley - Moose Herding Dog Excellent. Her prize was a handcarved Moose Keychain. Thanks to Stanley for winning this award for your mommy! We're also held a raffle for a size 450 Patriot Metal Crate which was won by Anne Robinson in California. CONGRATULATIONS! And thanks again to Patriot Metal Crates for the wonderful deal they gave us on this incredible raffle item. Thanks also to Randee Bloom who donated the HaHa crate bed to go with the crate! Our annual raffle held many great prizes including five CERF eye exams from Dr. Yakeley in Spokane, two different hotel packages, a free years semen storage from Dr. Platz of ICSB in Portland, as well as many collie gifts and wonderful treats for the dogs. It was a great success which raised money to help support the IECC.
